Description
The Glass Pearl Drop Necklace brings a classic touch to everyday outfits. A single round pearl hangs from a small bail on a fine cable chain, so it moves gently and sits neatly at the centre of the neckline. It is a lovely piece for weddings and special occasions, yet understated enough for every day.
The pearl is a glass pearl - a glass bead with a lustrous pearl coating - so it is uniform in shape and colour and lighter on the purse than a natural pearl. The bail and chain are made of 316L stainless steel with an 18k gold plating, and the chain is 42 cm long with a 5 cm extender.

Pearl care: the pearl coating is delicate - keep it away from perfume, water and hard surfaces, and wipe it only with a soft dry cloth.
About the materials: our pieces are made of 316L stainless steel, an alloy widely used for everyday jewellery. Like all stainless steel it contains nickel bound within the alloy, so we cannot promise it will suit every metal allergy - if you have a known allergy, please check with your doctor or pharmacist first. Gold-plated pieces are not solid gold and are not hallmarked precious metal.
Care: gold plating is a thin layer of gold over a stainless steel base, so it wears gradually with use. To keep the colour for as long as possible, put your jewellery on after perfume, lotion and hairspray, take it off before swimming, bathing, showering, exercise and cleaning, and avoid chlorine and salt water. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wearing and store it on its own in the pouch provided so pieces do not scratch each other. Do not use jewellery cleaning dips or abrasive polishes.
